Gear:
- HP Dv5 Laptop – a bit too large for the road, but I figure I’ll run it into the ground and then downgrade to a netbook. It also has the power to handle video editing, which is a nice plus.
- External Hard Drive – for file back-up and storage
- iPod – for those days when I miss the sultry tones of Miley Cyrus. err… I mean Rancid.
- Camera – TBD
- Cannondale T2000, Ortlieb panniers and Tubus racks
- Garmin Edge 705 – to track my speed, mileage and if I’m hopelessly lost, some maps
- iPhone – the indispensible travel tool once you break out of AT&T’s clutches

Another great audio book is America: (The Book) A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction, by Jon Stewart & Daily Show writers. Just listened to it – it’s hilarious.

What???
By Bike???
Around the world. My head is spinning. I’ve barely made it out of LA, but then again the world comes to us. So, guess I don’t need to travel.
Have Fun, and maybe I’m a bit jealous.
