- About Me

Marketer by trade, writer at heart, traveler in my soul and geek in my spare time.
One word of warning - I may have a sharp tongue, but it's always in my cheek. So I cut myself a lot.
The Freedonia Post was created to share stories and photos from my round the world trip, which started in July 2010. In the meantime, enjoy the pics and random thoughts about travel I've done in the past.
I'm an introverted attention whore, which makes for some interesting situations along the way.

Hahaha! This is so bloody true! I felt completely ridiculous walking down a busy street clad in a bikini – no cover up, shorts, or floppy hat to even distract from the glaringly obvious. But as they say, do as the Rioians do. Is it bad to make up words? Tip: writers do this sometimes.
Between you and me – it was liberating to let my body be as it was – imperfections intact.
